Bandanas are all the rage, it seems. I see dogs in my Instagram feed sporting all sorts of cute and fabulous neckwear, and decided that it’s time our shop expanded our line to include the fun.
I have a confession to make, though. We don’t wear bandanas on our dogs. I really like them, but have never invested in the look for our french dogs.
Because of this, it was difficult for me to create a pattern that worked perfectly. I think I’ve finally got a good pattern, though, that corresponds to our collar sizes. This will make it easier for our dear customers to know which size bandana their dog will wear.
I think the most fun thing about these is that I can now add more fabric to the shelves in the workshop. I’ve been so particular about prints in the past, because so many are scaled so large that they wouldn’t translate well into a small strip for a collar, or a bow tie. A bandana offers more print face to show, so this opens up a whole new world of fun shopping for me. My husband will be thrilled.
For now, we have a very limited selection in the store, but remember that I love custom orders. If I have a bow tie offered in a print that you’d love a bow tie made from, please ask. I’ll happily create a bandana for you from that fabric! (Collars are not quite so easy, however. Most collars are made from ribbon, vs fabric, and cannot be made into a neck piece for your dog.)
Raise a paw if you’re as excited about this as I am! And if you’re thinking of purchasing one, please use code SAVE20 to take 20% off your order. Just a little treat from me, because I’m so excited about expanding into a new line.
